Wolfe & Porter is hosting Tiki Fest on May 18 to celebrate its grand opening with live bands, food trucks, and special cocktails. Wolfe & Porter is a craft cocktail bar, which takes its name from two of North Carolina’s most famous authors: Thomas Wolfe and William Sydney Porter (aka O. Henry). It hosts two unique bars in its expansive indoor and outdoor space.

Tiki Fest will be from 4 p.m. to midnight. The bar opens at noon. The festivities include live music by Tonk, Kicking Bird, My Sister Maura, and Charlie Paso, as well as food trucks and giveaways. Both Wolfe & Porter, the upper bar, and The Cellar Liquor Bar, the lower bar, will be serving a special menu of tiki cocktails, including Fog Cutter, Painkiller, and a frozen Jungle Bird. The event partners include Dogwood State Bank, Milberg law firm, Bell’s Brewery, Campari, and Tikican.
