The Triangle Children’s Business Fair was started in 2016 with a single goal in mind, to help young minds explore the possibilities of entrepreneurship and help inspires children to discover their inner entrepreneur. As the largest entrepreneurship event for kids in North America, this one-day market gives children the opportunity to showcase their very own businesses.

The fair will be held Saturday, August 18th, 2018, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm outdoors at Park West Village. Businesses can start setting up at 9:00 am. The fair will end at 12:30 pm, and prizes will be awarded from 12:30 to 1:00 pm.

Children who are ages 6 to 14 on August 18, 2018, can participate.

Young entrepreneurs first make an important decision: they hire themselves! Young entrepreneurs should submit an application (open May 1st), and begin to build a product or service. They plan their business at every level: product/service, marketing, accounting, cost of goods, pricing, and more.

Accepted applicants will sell their product or service to real customers from a booth at the fair Saturday, August 18th from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm outdoors @ Park West Village.
