Every year, Twisted Scizzors Salon in Cary hosts a cut-a-thon to raise money for a local cancer patient. This year’s recipient is 7-year-old Noelle Franklin. To date, we have raised $6,500 simply by asking clients who come into the salon if they wish to donate. It’s been super successful, and this is the largest we’ve raised this early in a fundraiser campaign. Our fundraiser culminates with a Cut-a-thon on Sunday, September 8, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. At the rate we are going, we hope to raise over $10,000 for Noelle and her family.
