The V Foundation for Cancer Research’s fourth annual Victory Ride to Cure Cancer presented by Braswell Family Farms will take place on Saturday, Aug. 28. The Victory Ride will begin and end at NC State University’s Centennial Campus and will offer 10-, 30-, 60- and 100-mile distances to accommodate cyclists at any level. For those who prefer stationary cycling, on-site spin classes are available.

100% of rider-raised funds benefit cancer research at Duke Cancer Institute, UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center and the Wake Forest Baptist Health Comprehensive Cancer Center, as well as breakthrough cancer research nationwide.

To kick off the day, participants will hear from cancer survivors, cancer centers and sponsors about the importance of cancer research. Complimentary breakfast is provided by Braswell Family Farms with live music from EG Peters Band. For kids supporting riders, there will be a kid bicycle obstacle course from Bikin’ Dads. Following the ride, offerings from local breweries will be on-site, including Bond Brothers Beer Company, Big Boss Brewing Company, Gizmo Brew Works and Heydey Brewing as well as national brand Corona. There will also be food trucks including Pie Pushers, Poblanos Tacos, the Wandering Moose, Bulkogi and dessert from Locopops.
