Do you have what it takes to become a SAFE Haven volunteer? We’re looking for people who love cats and who love doing good for their community. See if you are up to the job at our Open House event where you can learn about the essential role volunteers play in shelter maintenance, community outreach, and adoptions.

Staff will be on hand to discuss opportunities, trainings, scheduling and the rewards of volunteering at SAFE Haven. Cat lovers ages 16 and up welcome.

Why we need you: Volunteers are needed to help clean the cat cages, socialize the cats, represent SAFE Haven at community outreach events such as Fill a Truck, work on special event committees like our Tuxedo Cat Ball, and much more. We have a volunteer opportunity just fo ryou!

The shelter offers volunteer positions for people ages 16 and up with all types of schedules and interests, and we are hoping to add approximately 100 volunteers this year.
