If you’re missing the snow Mother Nature delivered to the Carolinas in January, Waverly Place Shopping Center has you covered. For the seventh year in a row, Waverly Place is hosting their annual Snow Day event on Saturday, March 3, 2018 from 11am-3pm, complete with two sledding hills and plenty of snow for all the action. 

During this year’s event, attendees can expect special in-store promotions, freebies, and giveaways from Waverly Place retailers. Enjoy complimentary cookies and sweet treats in The Park provided by Amazing Lash Studio. Guests can also stop by vomFASS for complimentary hot mulled cider and olive oil cookies. Hungry? Whole Foods Market will be selling hamburgers and hot dogs from the grill during the event, as well as drinks and snacks in The Park.

Bring the entire family for a variety of activities and games including cornhole and life-sized chess or enjoy the Waverly Place playground sponsored by WakeMed Cary Hospital. Stop by the presenting sponsor’s tent, Johnson Subaru of Cary, to enter for a chance to win a gift basket with items from Whisk, VomFASS, Color Me Mine, Parlor Blow Dry Bar, and Gigi’s Cupcakes (retail value $150). Music throughout the afternoon will be provided by DJ Gary Gibson. 

Attendees will need to register in advance for a designated time slot beginning at 11am. Sledding tickets are $8 and include use of a special sled provided by Snow My Yard. Each ticket is valid for a one-hour session within your purchased time slot, which permits access to two sledding hills. Tickets are available online.
