SUMMER LINEUP FOR WIND DOWN WEDNESDAY

Waverly Place Hosts Free Outdoor Music Series

Beginning Wednesday, June 5th from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., local bands return to Waverly Place for a free concert series. The whole family is invited to relax while listening to summertime tunes. The full lineup is as follows:

• June 5th – Band of Oz
• June 12th – Jim Quick & Coastline
• June 19th – The Embers Featuring Craig Woolard
• June 26th – Bantum Rooster
• July 3rd – Soul Psychedelique
• July 10th – Hip Pocket
• July 17th – Liquid Pleasure
• July 24th – Night Years

Arrive early to take advantage of special offers from select Waverly Place retailers and restaurants. Then head to the Park to enjoy a variety of food and beverage options available for purchase during each performance. The Waverly Place Playground, sponsored by WakeMed, will be open and ready for action for younger visitors. Lawn chairs, blankets and well-behaved, leashed dogs are welcome on the grounds. Coolers, glass containers and outside alcohol are prohibited. Weather permitting. Schedule subject to change.
