And the 2023 Maggy Award for Best Doctor goes to … Dr. James Bould!
As a Senior Clinic Manager with CORA Physical Therapy, Dr. Bould oversees several clinics in the surrounding area, but the majority of his time is spent at his home clinic in Apex — located at the intersection of Highway 55 and Apex Peakway.
“I feel incredibly honored,” said Dr. Bould on his 2023 Maggy win. “Knowing that I have impacted the quality of life of others and that they have taken time out of their busy schedules to recognize me for that effort is incredibly humbling.”
For Dr. Bould, one of the best parts of being a physical therapist is the interaction he has with his patients.
“My greatest satisfaction comes from helping patients improve their overall quality of life, whether it’s by relieving pain, restoring function, or increasing mobility, strength, and balance,” said Dr. Bould. “The opportunity and challenges for professional growth is another reason I enjoy being a physical therapist. I have expanded my knowledge base through continuing education, achieving specialty certifications, and my administrative responsibilities. I would encourage others to consider a career in physical therapy!”

When it comes to winning Best Dentist, Dr. Bobbi Stanley knows the drill.
“I am incredibly honored and humbled to have been chosen for this award for the 15th year,” said Dr. Bobbi Stanley. “At Stanley Dentistry, we take tremendous pride in the care we provide for our patients, and I am thankful to our patients and other readers of Cary Magazine for recognizing our e orts and hard work. It truly means a lot to me and our entire team of professionals.”
Stanley Dentistry is a family-owned and operated practice that has proudly served Cary and the surrounding communities since 1995. By providing a wide range of services including sedation, cosmetics, implants, surgery, family dentistry, and more, this practice continues to win a little plaque year after year (pun intended).
“My favorite thing about being a dentist is being able to help my patients achieve optimal oral health and a beautiful smile,” said Dr. Stanley. “There is nothing more rewarding than when a patient leaves my chair with a confident smile, knowing that we have made a positive difference in their life. That is something that never gets old!”

Linda Trevor and her dynamic team have hustled their way into this year’s spot for Best Real Estate Agent — a feat that’s not unexpected, given the value they put on their relationships with clients, fellow brokers, and each other. With years of experience among them, team members Linda Trevor, Colleen Lawrence, MaryBeth Weber, and Cathy Hawkins provide their clients with honesty, drive, and a thorough knowledge of the area.
“This win is just an honor, especially in light of how many awesome brokers there are in the area,” said Trevor. “We’re just excited to be recognized.”
While some agents are just out to sell a house, the members of Linda Trevor’s team can be counted on to keep your best interests at heart.
“I always tell my clients that I think of them like my family,” said Weber. “I would not want them to buy a house that I wouldn’t want my mother or my brother or sister to buy. And I truly mean that.”
