Holiday Open House

Festivity arrives at Village District with the Holiday Open House. Offering photographs with Santa Claus, hot cocoa, a kids’ letter-writing station for those all-important lists, roaming carolers and seasonal tunes, the open house officially welcomes in the gift-giving season.

When the eating is over, the entertainment starts. The Mariah Carey-themed karaoke contest at the Downtown Cary Park Arena offers performers the opportunity to show off their singing skills to Mix 101.5 morning hosts Kyle, Bryan, and Sarah, with the winning prize a pair of tickets to see Mariah live in Raleigh on December 9.
Komana Brewing Friendsgiving

The Komana tables are set for friends and feasting, with the sign-up potluck ensuring it isn’t all stuffing and no sweet potatoes! For this first annual event, Komana Brewing will provide the deep-friend turkey, and the first 10 potluck signups will receive a pint on the house. Come out and make the meal one to remember! Freedom Ride Rescue Turkey Day 5K

Family and friends, both human and canine, gather to enjoy a brisk holiday morning run or walk through the parks to help raise money in support of Freedom Ride Rescue’s mission to help abandoned, neglected and abused animals in North Carolina. Don a festive costume for this dog-and kid-friendly outing.
Thanksgiving Buffet at Peck & Plume

The best part of going out to eat? No dishes to do. Thanks to Peck & Plume, you can enjoy all the fun of feasting with loved ones … and skip all the work. Staples like carved turkey, smoked ham with cherry glaze, buttermilk mashed potatoes, creamed corn pudding, fresh sage stuffing — and, of course, a not-to-miss “colossal” dessert display — are all available to buffet diners. $70 for adults; $29 for children under 12.
Thanksgiving Feast with a View

Celebrate Thanksgiving Day at The Willard Rooftop and savor a delicious buffet of holiday favorites.
