Buy a cup of lemonade and you’ll be helping little kids raise money to add solar panels to the roof of their church, as part of its Caring for Creation campaign.
Sunday, Aug. 21 through Saturday, Aug. 27
As a thank-you to area teachers, Orangetheory Fitness studios are offering them two free classes. Local studios are in Holly Springs and Morrisville.
Not a teacher? Donate school supplies, and you can receive one free class.

Twisted Scizzors Salon, 2751 N.C. 55, Cary
The whole family is welcome as Twisted Scizzors hosts this cut-a-thon to benefit Bob’s Buddies, which helps families dealing with pediatric brain tumors.
