Your peanut butter fudge bar could help fund cancer research. Sweet!

In a newly-announced partnership, Cary-based The V Foundation for Cancer Research and sports nutrition provider Medifast have launched special edition Dual Fuel products.

Product sales will benefit The V Foundation for Cancer Research, started by famed college basketball coach Jim Valvano.

“We are excited about the opportunity to launch the Dual Fuel sports nutrition product with Medifast, given their history and stellar reputation in the health and wellness industry,” said Susan Braun, CEO of The V Foundation for Cancer Research, and a 2015 Cary Magazine Women of Western Wake honoree. 

“The partnership is a natural fit for our organization, supporting athletes while also supporting our mission to help save lives through cancer research.”

Dual Fuel products including peanut butter fudge bars and ready-to-drink protein shakes are available for purchase at JimmyV.DualFuelNutrition.com, and 10 percent of sales go back to the Foundation.
