The tennis park, that is!
Watch the excitement as professional tennis players from around the world compete for $50,000 in prize money, right here in Cary.
The Atlantic Tire Championships, formerly known as the Cary Tennis Championships, are happening Sept. 10-18 at Cary Tennis Park, featuring big names in professional men’s tennis, some coming directly from the U.S. Open.
The field for this event features 32 singles players and 16 doubles teams, with notable names on the player roster include Benjamin Becker, Dennis Novikov, and Ryan Harrison, along with Frances Tiafoe and Reilly Opelka.
The Cary tournament is a U.S. Tennis Association Pro Circuit event, considered the pathway to the U.S. Open and tour-level competition for aspiring tennis players, and a frequent battleground for established professionals.
Multiple ticket options are available, including single-day tickets beginning at $5, and multi-day ticket packages beginning at $30. Cary Tennis Park is located at 2727 Louis Stephens Drive.
Tickets may be purchased at AtlanticTireChampionships.com, or at Cary Tennis Park during the tournament.
The Atlantic Tire Championships will also raise money for charities through a week-long silent auction of local college memorabilia, and will host a charity event run by Western Wake Tennis Association benefiting Transitions LifeCare and the Western Wake Tennis Association Scholarships for local youth.
