Kristin Locklear and Steven Devereaux Greene
Executive Chef Steven Devereaux Greene, of An, is one of the fastest rising stars in the area’s culinary scene. The restaurant he has nurtured for two years served as a meaningful backdrop for his wedding to Kristin Locklear last September.
Greene planned the menu and service for the reception, including Kristin’s favorite food, Foie Gras Terrine. Thanks to a team of colleagues including An’s event coordinator Sammie Vong and chefs John Childers and Tim Morton of Herons, Greene was able to enjoy the affair in the front of the house, rather than the back as usual.
Memorable and creative details personalized all aspects of the couple’s special day.
The bride processed to a song performed by Greene’s cousin. The couple wrote their own vows. A professional artist, and friend of Greene’s, surprised the pair with a live painting of their first dance. In honor of the newlyweds’ namesake, touches of green flowed throughout the event’s décor.
In the sweetest of finales, guests parted with An’s signature chocolate chip and macadamia nut cookies and the recipe.
