Set for Saturday, June 23, the party is hosted by business and personal assistance service Triangle’s Other Woman. Company President and CEO Sarah Benken says it’s much more than a girls’ day out.
A unique occasion where guests enjoy personal pampering while sipping on signature drinks, Benken says All Dolled Up also allows ticket holders to choose three pampering hotspots from among multiple stations, including massage, manicure, pedicure, makeup application, hair styling and mini facial.
Also offered at the event are complimentary hors d’oeuvres and goodie bags, a full-service cash bar, and a silent auction of great prizes.
“We have amazing auction items,” Benken said, including a Coach bag valued at $675, Prada eyeglass frames complete with gift certificate for lenses, one-year premium fitness club membership, Carolina Ballet tickets and multiple spa packages.
Local beauty and wellness pros on hand for girl talk and consultations will include popular fashion adviser Michelle Little.
Vendors will offer shopping opportunities for everything from jewelry and skin care to greeting cards. And for fun, attendees can purchase feathers to be incorporated into their new hairstyle station ‘do.
Best of all, the occasion benefits Dress for Success Triangle NC, an organization providing free professional attire and career development tools to disadvantaged women.
Since June 2008, Dress for Success Triangle has aided more than 2,700 women, referred by more than 80 nonprofit, faith-based, and government programs in the Triangle.
“Dress for Success is an awesome charity that does great things to help women — it’s much more than providing clothes,” Benken said. “They help them secure job interviews and brush up their skills, to go from jobless to self-sufficiency.”
All Dolled Up will take place at Spy Raleigh, located at 330 W. Davie St., downtown, on June 23 from 3 to 8 p.m.
