Brace yourselves, beer lovers. Yard House is coming to town.
Opening its first North Carolina location this weekend, Yard House boasts an astounding 140 taps, all transported to a central bar via a unique and eye-catching tube network.
A glass-enclosed keg room shows off the variety of brews, ranging from imports to local selections. Area breweries on the lineup include Foothills, Mother Earth, Greenman, Duck-Rabbit, Aviator and Thomas Creek.
In addition to permanent selections, a Chalkboard Beer Series will showcase a selection of unique bottle offerings and five rotating drafts of small, limited releases from craft brewers. Look for Crispin The Saint, Cottonwood Endo IPA, Southern Tier Bourbon Backburner and Aviator Oktoberfest — among others.
The food can hold its own, too. The American fusion fare adds globally inspired flavors to classic comfort fare. In addition to burgers, sandwiches, salads and other favorites, the eclectic menu features items such as kung pao calamari, (mac+cheese)2 and salted caramel butterscotch pudding.
The restaurant will officially open its doors Sunday, Oct. 14, at 11 a.m. Yard House at North Hills will be located on Level 1 of the CAPTRUST Tower at 4208 Six Forks Road in Raleigh. The restaurant will be open daily for lunch, dinner and late-night dining. For more information, visit www.yardhouse.com.
