Picture a table full of turkey and all the trimmings — salivating yet?
Everyone loves to enjoy the flavors of an all-out Thanksgiving spread … but not everyone loves to cook it. Thankfully, several local restaurants offer their take on turkey day. Make reservations now to ensure availability.
Sparians bowling boutique & bistro at North Hills will feature a Thanksgiving buffet from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Honey glazed ham with pineapple chutney, pan-roasted salmon with orange cranberry marmalade and herb-seared pork loin with plum glaze will bolster the traditional slow-cooked turkey breast with garlic-shallot pan gravy.
Soups, sides and desserts — brown butter sweet potatoes, sage stuffing and pumpkin cheesecake, to name a few — complete the meal. Adults are $19.95, children ages 4 to 12 are $10.95, and anyone 3 and younger eats free. Make reservations here.
The Irregardless Café in Raleigh will be serving all day, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Traditionalists can find comfort in a turkey dinner plate with oven-roasted turkey with pan gravy, sage cornbread stuffing, fresh cranberry orange ginger chutney, vegetable de jour and sweet potatoes. Also on the menu are standout selections like rack of lamb, local pan-seared flounder, and plenty of vegan options like seven-bean cassoulet and shepherds’ pie.
Reservations are required.
