Loves about Jimmy V’s: Being able to be as creative as I want. Coming up with cuisine of the latest trends enables us to be unique, unlike other typical steakhouses in the area.

Where he eats: When I get a chance to go out to eat, I look for different. I like a taco truck by my house, Taqueria Las Delicias in Apex.

Admires: It embodies more of the roots of Mexican cooking rather than being so Americanized.

Memorable: It’s fast, convenient and authentic.

What to order: Lengua (tongue), tripe and barbacoa tacos.

The parking lot in which Taqueria Las Delicias food truck sits smells of fresh-made tortillas. Don’t be intimidated, the menu is in Spanish and English.
