2023 Women of Western Wake Forum

1) Bold Batch Creamery: Maura will be featuring a Mexican Hot Chocolate ice cream sandwich, which consists of cinnamon marshmallow fluff and dark chili chocolate ice cream between two dark chocolate cookies.

2) Eat, Sweet, Repeat: Kathryn will be featuring 
a Caramel Snickerdoodle Bar, which is a 3 layer bar that starts with a snickerdoodle cookie base, topped with a perfectly portioned layer of soft caramel, and a layer of white chocolate ganache, dusted in cinnamon sugar to finish it off. 

3) Boozie Bakes: Angel will be featuring a Hot Cocoa Cupcake, consisting of a moist delicious cocoa cake baked with merlot, with a luscious whipped frosting topped with indulgent marshmallows.

4) Bitten Bakery: Sam will feature her popular 
Toffee Cookie Butter Cookie, which is comprised of a warm cinnamon spiced dough mixed with Heath toffee pieces, white chocolate chips, potato chips and stuffed with cookie butter.

5) Little Blue Macaron: Allison will feature her Gingerbread Macaron - with Gingerbread spiced shells, a ring of molasses buttercream, and a center of in-house made GF gingerbread cookie butter.

- Peppermint Mocha: a mocha latte featuring dark chocolate sauce and in-house made peppermint syrup (always GF and available vegan)

- Gingerbread Latte: a seasonal latte featuring our in-house made gingerbread syrup, topped with whipped cream and our in-house made GF/vegan gingerbread crumble (available vegan when whip is omitted)

On Sept. 29, Cary Magazine honored five local women who have worked hard to better our community: Tamani Anderson Powell, Dr. Rebecca Kitzmiller, Patsy Johnson, Sheri Erhart, and Leslie Covington. To celebrate their achievements, the 2023 Women of Western Wake Forum was held at The Umstead Hotel & Spa — featuring a keynote breakfast session, workshops, networking opportunities, and a luncheon and honoree panel.
