Several inches of snow fell around the Triangle late Friday and early Saturday, Jan. 21 and 22, closing schools and blanketing Fred G. Bond Metro Park in white. Despite the icy roads, many found their way to the Cary park’s popular sledding hills, where kids of all ages shared fast rides and big smiles.
