After years of planning, building and finally decorating, the Apex Senior Center is officially open!

A grand opening celebration will be held 6-8 p.m., Monday, Nov. 1. This evening celebration will include an official ribbon-cutting, tours for the public, refreshments, and live music from local bluegrass band Nixon, Blevins & Gage. This event is open to anyone to attend, no RSVP required.

The Apex Senior Center opened to the public on Oct. 20, and many senior classes and programs will be held in the new building. The initial operating hours for the building are 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
