About: Young Leaders serving in our community and beyond. DOCNC is a community of students who want to, little by little, make a difference in people’s lives. We host numerous events every year to fundraise for different local organizations. In the past, we have fundraised for Duke Children’s Hospital, the construction of a playground for children with disabilities, Big Brothers and Big Sisters of the Triangle, etc. Due to recent events involving the coronavirus outbreak and the Black Lives Matter movement, we decided to focus our initiative this year to help those in the community who are risking their lives for the better of others.

Volunteer Opportunities: We host events each year, but for the first half of this next year, we are planning to host online events to volunteer. Student volunteers can participate in these events and/or brain storm to host their own events. Volunteers can start by filling out the form on our website for new members and attending our next monthly online meeting.
