About:
Since 1987, the Executive Service Corps of the Triangle has provided professional, affordable consulting to area nonprofits to help them achieve their missions. Our services are provided by dedicated and experienced professionals who have the time, flexibility and desire to provide their services on a pro bono basis. Our volunteer consultants have the passion, knowledge, training and commitment to help nonprofits make better decisions and thereby become more effective and efficient.
ESC consulting services include Board Self Assessments, Board Retreat Facilitation, Board Development, Strategic Planning, Coaching for Executive Directors, Financial Diagnostic Reviews and Custom Designed Programs to meet the specific needs of each nonprofit client.
The population we serve is hundreds of Triangle nonprofits in four NC counties (Chatham, Durham, Orange, and Wake); the organizations specialize in such diverse areas as human services, the arts, youth development, education, social services, affordable housing, and health care.

Volunteer Opportunities:
We are recruiting volunteer consultants with senior management experience and a genuine interest in helping nonprofits succeed. ESC consultants work in teams to provide high quality, professional and affordable consulting services to a wide range of interesting nonprofit organizations. Many of our consultants are retired executives from business and nonprofit organizations.
