About: The Parekh Family Foundation was established in 2006, embodying the ideals and values of the parents of Selene and Zankhna Parekh. The Foundation was started in honor of Gunvant and Bharati Parekh. From Mumbai and Ahmedabad respectively, they immigrated to the United States in 1969. They were great believers in education, hard work, and discipline. The Parekh Family Foundation is a non-profit, private operating foundation, which functions to improve the quality of life for individuals globally. The core activities of the Foundation include supporting education, research, and missionary medical aid to those who need health care within the United States and abroad.
